Most of the red fabrics I used are from Kate Spain's In From The Cold line (love those coffee cups too!) plus a few from my stash. The background Sketch fabric is by Timeless Treasures and the branch is from Alison Glass' Sun Print line. I got all of them from Pink Castle Fabrics.
I'll be teaching Machine Applique (this pillow is the project) for:
- the CAMEO Quilt Guild on Saturday, November 23 in Clawson, MI. The name of their guild, CAMEO, stands for Come And Meet Each Other - isn't that great! (best to snail mail form)
- The Georgia Quilt Show next Friday Sept 20, a week from today! The Machine Applique class is full, but I'm also teaching Hand Applique and Bias Applique there too (Hand on Friday, Bias on Saturday)
- The Greater Ann Arbor (MI) Quilt Guild on January 17, 2014. Registration for members is open now, non-members can register after December 7.
There are so many great ways to learn something new - books, DVDs, YouTube, online, but there is something wonderful about being in a room full of people who love the same things you do and setting aside the time to focus on that. Even if you can't attend one of my classes, I hope you get the chance to take a class somewhere soon! If you could, what would you take?
